A Women’s Support Group

Breakups Aren't Easy

You don’t only end a relationship, you breakup with the life that you built together.

Healing, understanding, and figuring out what comes next won’t be simple task, but they can feel achievable with the right guidance and support.

Divorce and breakups can be devastating, heartbreaking, liberating, infuriating, empowering, and so much more. It can cause feelings of sadness, anger, grief, guilt, shame, fear, and excitement. They can leave you feeling confused and unsure of your next steps.

Whatever you’re feeling, you’re not alone.

There are countless others riding the roller coaster of emotions that comes with divorce. You don’t have to ride the coaster alone.

You can come out from the other side of your breakup stronger, more secure, and confident.

But it will take a lot of work. This group supports you while you do that work.

You’ll connect with others with a similar experience who just get it. You’ll have a space to feel all the feelings. You’ll learn tools and strategies to cope, heal, and move forward (sometimes you’ll take a few steps back, but that’s part of the process and we’re here for it).

This group is specifically curated for:

Female-identifying people who are in any stage of a breakup, divorce, or who are already separated.

This group is not for you if you are still deciding whether a breakup or divorce is the right option for you.

What we'll cover:

  • Attachment theory and tools to cultivate secure attachment
  • Inner child awareness and reparenting tools
  • Self-regulation and co-regulation skills
  • Increasing emotional intelligence

Books for Anyone Looking Towards What's Next After A Breakup

After years of leading groups, there are two things that I’ve come to observe that are certain when you get a group of initial strangers together. First, no two groups are the same. Secondly, the most  successful groups are the ones where the members come prepared and with intent.

These are just a few books that might improve your experience within a support group. If you don’t have time to read, most of these books come in audiobook form. You can always try Audible Plus or Audible Premium Plus for FREE

The author is a therapist who has developed a three-phase process for healing from a breakup. If you are looking to start somewhere, anywhere, then this might be worth a try.

It’s all in the title. If obtaining very tools for overcoming negative thought patterns, reducing stress, and living a worry-free life, as promised by the author, sound good to you – then here you go.

Book When Things Fall Apart

Pema Chodron’s book is one of those books that is often cited by those going through a tough time as having helped them greatly. It is well deserving of its reputation.
